No any one knows when and where cricket is started…Cricket is derived from the word,krick-e,Meaning : a stick….The cricket game was 1^st time played in England since 1751.Before 1751 cricket is not a popular game in the world..The 1^st cricket clubs were Datford and London in the early 18^th century.After the birth of cricket in England,the cricket is not famous game only in England but this is a favourite game of the world.E.g Australia,Pakistan,India,south Africa and srilanka etc….

            The 1^st international cricket game was played between USA and Canada in 1844 at the ground of st george,s club in Newyork.In this time there are four balls played in each over,In 1889 these four balls are replaced to five balls then they replaced a five balls to six balls in 1900.                                                                                                        In cricket game there are 11 players in each team…Cricket board selects a captain from a team who play good role in playing game.Each team has a captain who commands on his team.

In a team there are some bowlers , some batsmans and one wicket keeper…

 Each team has its own uniform.with different colours and write the name of country and their names on it.

          The important rules of cricket such as:wickets,bat & ball,stumps,overs and pitch etc. There are three umpires in cricket game 1^st,2^nd and third.They conduct the match.The umpire see the no balls and taking wickets of the bowlers and take a  decision for it.

If the 1^st umpire does not give real decision then the captain or player takes  review from third umpire.He gives decision on review.The third umpire,s duties have include decisions on other aspects of play such as catches,stumpings,run outs etc…..

The third umpire called to moderate the reviews of decisions for example LBW and HOT SPOTS…

             One team which take bat 1^st that set the target for other team to win.The another team try to chase the target for a victory.

During the match any player played well in batting or bowling then the cricket council choose the player for man of the match.

            In cricket game there are three different matches.(1)Test matches (2)Oneday internationals(ODIs) (3)T20 matches…

The Test matches are played in 5 days,There are 90 overs are played in everyday.Each team plays two innings.As the august 2013,the south Africa is the top ranking team in the test matches.

The 2^nd matches are oneday internationals,The old name of ODIs was LOIs(Limited over internationals)In this match there are 100 overs are playing,Each team has 50 overs.The ODIs matches were starting in 1963,in this time these matches are only knockout competitions.The first ODIs world cup was played in 1975 at England.India is the top ranking team in the (ODIs) as the august 2013.

The 3^rd one is T20 matches they are playing in 20-20 overs,The T20 matches have not so long boundries as compared to ODIS or Test matches boundries.the srilanka is the T20
